The wastewater treatment plant handles about 3
million gallons of water per day. It has a capacity to treat 5 million
gallons per day. The plant crew maintains the mechanical operation,
monitors the biological system and the key parameters.
Plant personnel are also responsible for sewer line
maintenance. They repair and replace lines, clear clogged lines, and
occasionally install new sewer lines. There is over 190 miles of sewer
line in Clovis.
